Why one traveller record beats five integrated systems
Integration moves data between systems. A single record means there was never more than one version of the traveller to reconcile.
Every travel business eventually assembles a stack: a CRM, a builder, an accounting package, a messaging tool. Each is defensible on its own. The cost appears at the seams, and it is paid in duplicate records.
The question that settles it
When the CRM says the traveller is Priya Raghavan and the accounting system says P. Raghunathan, which one is right, and who decides? Integration does not answer that. It only moves the disagreement faster.
“We had the same family in the system four times, one per channel they had ever contacted us on.”
A single record is a smaller idea than a platform, and a more consequential one: the passport, the preference, the past trip and the balance owed describe one person, and every module reads the same row.
